Arrow What does this (circled image) do?

Acura CSX owner here. I took off my rear wheels to do some rust repair & the garden hose water must have knocked this part (circled) loose. The two halves separated.

What does the circled part do? Does it have something to do with brakes, eBrake? Help me out.

Still have my car jacked up so no idea what will/won't work once I put my wheels back on and try to drive.

anti-roll bar endlink.
they tend to to break.
until you can replace, zip-tie it in a away that it will not move or get in the way of other parts of the suspension moving
