Car won't Accelerate or reverse

Hi all.

Hopefully someone will be able to help here.

I have a 2008 Type R Civic. Last week when I tried to pull away at a crossroard, I put the car into 1st Gear and tried to accelerate however there was a pop sound from somewhere and then the car wouldnt move forward or in reverse regardless of which gear I selected.
I had to have the car lifted to my drive way, however now when I start the ignition the car still will not drive, there is a clunking sound underneath as if something is turning and whilst the car is in stationary, there is a warning alert advising me to "Release Parking Brake". Im not sure what the best option is on how to move forward with it. Hope you can help.

Thank

Parking brake warning is unrelated, still look into it though. Sounds like you blew the clutch. Check that the axles haven't popped out of the trans as well
