Today Apr17 2023 with 120449 miles on the clock I renewed the valve cover gasket on my 2010 Civic LXS. I followed a Youtube video for the job and the most difficult part was the removal of the firewall mid two 10mm bolts as the space there is very tight. However , having small hands and with a 10mm socket attached to a universal adapter I was able to remove those two inner bolts. I did not have a problem using my TacLife torque wrench set to 96 inch lbs( 8ft lbs) to torque all eight bolts. I also cleaned the MAF and replaced the engine air filter. The air cleaner and gasket were OEM. Here is what the valve area looks like. I must say it was pretty clean and I attribute that to frequent ( scheduled ) oil changes with Mobil 1 Synthetic oil.
