This almost sounds like its coming from around the pulleys on the serpentine belt. It doenst happen all the time and doesnt seem to effect the driving.

Re: weird noise in the engine

Does it get louder/more frequent as the RPM’s increase?

No. Its very infrequent. In fact, I dont think I can even hear it when I'm driving. Just idling.

Sounds like a bad bearing to me. Now, which pulley? You could try removing the belt then spinning each by hand. See if you can feel anything.

You're correct! Turns out I had 2 bearings going bad. I just replaced the water pump because it had a little play and the noise was still kinda there. The tensioner pulley is the pulley thats still making the noise. Can I JUST replace the pulley or do I need to replace the entire arm?

Re: weird noise in the engine

You can, however the spring mechanism in the tensioner is probably worn out
