A strip of metal, with fragile metal "bristles", was sitting on the engine compartment floor near the radiator. It's about 2 ft long with no obvious fasteners. Any idea what this could be? Thanks!

As long as the AC still works you can leave it for now. My gfs 99 had that happen the top of the condenser and it still worked fine, there's no passageway there, just aids with heat dissipation
