Rep Power: 0 honda concerto 1994 - can i put a smaller radiator for d16z2 engine?
Hello
Well, the honda concerto was made in a collaboration from rover and honda. I have a 1994 concerto, which shares it's engine with some 4th gen civics (i think) - d16z2. So i was wondering, if it is possible to install a smaller radiator from an another civic to fit this engine and not cause any overheating due to its size? I am not talking about the hose and frame fitment but the overall well being of the engine with a smaller radiator. Maybe there are other hondas with similar radiators to the d16z2 as well? Or is it the best just to find the same radiator from a scrap car and fit it easily?
I was looking into alternatives because the concerto is a fairly rare car where i live and finding a radiator from a civic is much easier to find and is cheaper.
Thank you for your replies
