08 si orig owner 195000 mi perfectly maintained
recently did the 200,000 mile maintenance--.before that and now after ...there has been and continues to be a flutter in the exhaust ...at idle standing behind it while idling ...what the hell is that? no problems that I know of ...my fear is valves or associated with valves due to milage --but maybe in the exhaust itself -stuff breaking loose and causing a flutter sound in the exhaust ...that possible ? I am betting all these 12 year old high milage si's do that--but what is it??

Could be a broken baffle in the muffler, they smacking it with a rubber mallet and see if you can hear any rattling

Thank you ...I am hopeful it is something of no consequence such as that ....and my first guest--- otherwise it runs fine no misses no nothing...me old retired guy with a kids car...there seems to be no clear cut pattern to it...other than what might be pressure buildup...thanks
