Re: Honda civic white smoke

Remove spark plugs to inspect for wetness (coolant or fuel) while the engine is cold/sitting overnight.

Re: Honda civic white smoke

The head gasket is okay
Spark plugs are fine
Checked coil one is okay and when i remove it the engine stops running
But when i see coil 3 it increases the misfire more
Plus i have white smoke due to wrapped head .earlier only on cold starts
and when i drive on lpg it drives better
Is it the coil or something else
Fuilds are good , coolant is okay , engine oil is on the higher side of the pattern on the dipstick
The cell is on for a air fuel ratio error .

These two statements contradict each other. If the head is warped and leaking coolant into the cylinders (potentially creating white smoke on cold start).

Re: Honda civic white smoke

Head was earlier but got the gasket changed 6 months ago
The coolant doesn't go down
The smoke is from something else it is maybe burning oil

Re: Honda civic white smoke

The mechanic i went too says its the piston ring valve seals that are causing as the coolant level hasn't dropped
And what is causing the misfire is the main thing on my mind and could it be the injector
Since the car seems f9 on lpg ?
its irritating
I also have a faulty fuel gauge could that be a cause?
Or the coil 3

Re: Honda civic white smoke

A faulty coil is easy to diagnose ..just swap the suspected bad one (cylinder) with another known good coil from another cylinder. The bad coil should cause the new cylinder to misfire. Swap a spark plug too after swapping coil just to make sure the plug isn't the issue.

I think your mechanic probably said piston oil ring and/or valve seals. Oil getting by the piston rings or valve seals usually has a grey or dark smoke emitting from the exhaust and also a smell of oil.

Okay
Will interchange them its usually on low speeds and while turning below 15 km that i feel the missing while driving or at idle
Could the bad piston rings cause missing too
When it starts it bubbles as if i started a tractor

Re: Honda civic white smoke

Excuse me if I'm not understanding but it sounds to me like you just said you're head gasket is fine but you have a warped head? You also said you changed the head gasket? Now, I have to ask because you didn't say it but did you get the head resurfaced? If you did not, I would say your head gasket is not fine. Anytime you do a head gasket you NEED to have the head resurfaced unless you want to blow through the gasket again from a gap between the head and block. So did you resurface?

What do you mean "it bubbles"?

For each piston there are two compression rings and one oil ring. If it we a compression ring is cracked or stuck it can lose compression. Do a compression test on it.

Seems like coil 3 has some sort of issue ..

Re: Honda civic white smoke

After switching coils i check the emulator wire to the engine unplugged them and replugged them now there is no missing at all but if i shift from gas to petrol suddenly without switching off the car the rpms shuffle
So when i shift from gas back to petrol i turn of the car and turn the switch to petroleum and start the car
Either it is the injector harness or my emulator wiring which is faulty .
If the dont switch off and shift while moving the engine starts a shan shan sound sort of a whining as if its wheezing.
Being a student ill fix gas emulator wiring next month

Re: Honda civic white smoke

Not understanding your wording in your last post. To check if the fuel injectors are firing (pulse) use an autostethescope or piece of PVC pipe between your ear and the injector. You should hear it firing clearly. However, just because an injector is firing it doesn't mean that it's not partially or fully clogged.

When you say emulator are you referring to the this: https://www.google.com/search?sxsrf=...x0wc4mvsus5KM:

Re: Honda civic white smoke

Yes i am referring to the same
It is for lpg
The purpose of it is to switch off the injectors from sending petroleum to engine while the car is running on lpg
It seems its wirring is faulty
Or the wiring to coils is faulty .
