Re: euro oil ok?

It won't hurt anything per say but it will have different additives in it then a US or Japanese spec oil. They run longer change intervals in Europe because oil is so expensive and for environmental reasons. Europe does have stricter standards on what oils meet their requirements like being considered a "synthetic".

Best to choose an oil that meets or exceeds Honda requirements. Also if wear is more important over MPG then that is another consideration.

How long are you running your current oil? In a NA economy car 7,500-10,000 is fine. Stepping up to a better synthetic would extend the change interval also.

Best way to know how an oil is doing is to send it in for analysis. Older Honda engines are pretty gentle on oil.
