just got car painted(cleaning)

Question just got car painted(cleaning)

I just got my car painted by a body shop and the shop said i should wax the car for 3 months
does this include liquid spray wax??
normally i dont go to laser wash(water only) but i might if i can to wash my car
need some help here got a car shop coming up and i need to clean the car and this would work temporarily

Did they tell you NOT to wax the car for 3 months? Depending on what method was used to dry the paint on a car you have to follow certain instructions on waxing or washing. If the car was dried in an oven or by any other heat source then you will not have to wait as long to wax or wash the paint, maybe a week at the most. If it was let to dry in the open air or just in sunlight then you will have to wait about 3 months to wax or wash to make sure the paint has been fully dried and hardend.

Dont wax the car....You need to let the paint cure. You can wash the car, but only by hand. Do not go to an automated car wash.

k i wont wash or wax just rinse off when really dirty
i know they didnt air dry that $h!t, they did it in their shop
so not sure
