cleaning help

My engine is so dirty, i would like to know how you guys / gurls keep you engine bays so clean? How do you clean it? My car has grease all over the caps. Also I have water stain from sparying water into the engine. If anyone can help that would be great.

have you tryed engine degreeser? or just degreeser? they have foaming and such.

Spray the engine down with simple green, and be sure to cover all the vulnerable parts, like the air filter, stuff like that. Let it sit for a couple of minutes and maybe for the engine block, use something to scrub it to get all the stuck on dirt off. After that, just rinse, dry as well as you can, and then your engine should be alot cleaner.
