use dish soap next time you wash your car, but only do it once - it'll take whatever grease is on your car right off

And, of course, remember to wax it all up after using the dish detergent.

I dont know why you guys keep telling people to use dish soap on your car. Dish soap is one of the worse things you could put on your paint. You do not have to remove old wax on your car everytime you re wax the car. If you want to clean the paint before waxing it then clay bar the entire car. This will clean the paint and not cause the paint to get Dull which can happen if you keep using dish soap on the car. There is a reason that Palmolive is called Dish Soap. The reason is because Palmolive is made for dishes and Car soap is made for cars. If you want to remove the residue try the clay bar and re wax it with a quality wax....like Gliptone Creme wax, or Meguires Gold wax, or Mothers Gold wax.

I used to be ina body shop class and the guy teaching it recommended Auto Magic, you can only buy it at like pro paint shops, beh, it turned out to be crap or maybe I just put on too much, Clay Bar the whole car? hmmm, Yeahguys dishsoap is weak, Ivory can be used its 99 percent detergent without any additives and it does a good job but works a number on your paint and I like my paint shiny, dish soap dulls ur stuff, is MEguires Gold good? I have a black car and u can see everything heh

I would recommend Zymol. I have been using it for about a year and it is good stuff, better than Meguire's in my opinion.

i used to use zymol but then I swithed to liquid glass. There is a liquid glass pre-cleaner and a wax. Its a pain to have to go over the car so many times but the finished product is nice

The detailing shop I worked at used Auto Magic products. Which wax did you use? Auto Magic is a company, not a wax. If you want to wax your car and you dont want to spend that much on ZYMOL, then go with Meguires Gold, or Mothers Gold, Or Gliptone Creme, or Kit wax. You will get a great shine out of these products.
