Fixing Chip: Which Clearcoat?

Once I fill the chip with touch up and perhaps sand it down or use Langka, should I replace a clearcoat on top? Which product should I be looking for?

I don't believe you can add a clear coat unless you get that entire area painted/ a layer of clear coat from an auto body shop. Here's what to do. Add touch up paint then blot it around so it doesn't look like a blob, so that it's kinda smooth (as best as you can get it) then add a layer of cleaner wax, polish (if you want to) followed by a layer of wax. This way the chipped area will be protected. The best thing but of course the most $$$ is to get the area painted but I would wait on that till your paint is in rough shape or with a ton of chips. Hope this helps, cuase this is what I do on my black car.
