Great stuff: Zaino!
Well, I just totally detailed my car. here's what I did and what I used:
Wash (Dawn w/ water, gets your old wax off)
Bug & tar remover :-P (damn bugs!)
Zaino tire dressing
Zaino pre-wax (AKA Z1, it's a precoat, and trust me, it's worth it)
wait until it hazes over (30-45 min), don't buff out
Zaino wax (AKA Z2, great stuff)
wait until it hazes (30-45 min), buff out
Zaino extra gloss (AKA Z6, this stuff really helps even though it doesn't seem like it would)
Scotchguarded the inside
The Zaino stuff is REALLY great! It looks really good, and it's real easy to do. No, I don't work for Zaino or anything, I'm only 16 years old! but DAMN this stuff rocks! I also helped my dad wax his 2001 millenium yellow Corvette (drool.....), and it looks even better! prolly a function of a better OEM paint job. Oh well.
Zaino's web site is here, so check it out! You can't get this stuff anywhere except online, or sometimes they have booths set up at car shows, that's how me and my dad first got the stuff.

I tried Zaino and couldn't get it to do anything at all. It blows me away because folks are getting great results with this stuff. I don't know what I am doing wrong. Directions are easy enough to follow. I was thinking about trying the system again but I'd hate to spend all that money again for nothing. I have a silver car so maybe that is the problem. Maybe it's not that easy to get a wet, glossy shine on silver with that stuff.

Well i've got satin silver metallic, and I can DEFINATLY tell a difference! Did you use the Z1 before you put on the Z2, and then the Z6 afterwards? That's a best combination I've found....... Wait till the Z1 hazes to do the Z2, wait till the Z2 hazes to buff it off......
