What are these grey stains on my white paint?
What are these grey stains on my white paint?
Not too sure if the pics can do it justice...The paint is still glossy and white, but it's just...dirty! The only way I can get these off is with rubbing compound and elbow grease. What is it? Should I just buff it out with rubbing compound and my orbital? After it's off, is there anything more I should do?

Use a good Mothers Carnauba Cleaner wax instead.

Clay bar or some lacquer thinner on a rag. As long as you have good clear coat, the thinner wont hurt it at all...I mean...obviously you can't just let it sit on there. But dampen a rag with some, wipe it over then rinse with a little water. If that doesn't easily remove it then you'll have to do what the mod said
