shammy puts little scratches on car

I noticed while shammying my car that it put little scrates on it, is it really neccessary to shammy after u wash ur car

What kind of shammy are you using? My chammois doesnt leave any scratches. Are you sure you didnt scratch the car another way? Maybe while you were washing the car. What do you use to wash the car? You have to make sure everything is clean before you wash and dry a car. Make sure your wash mitt is clean, and also your chamois. You can scratch the car if dust or dirt has accumulated on the wash mitt and chamois.
