question on painting

i saw alot of people have the chrome peice in the front and rear painted..i was wondering how u do it.. did yall take it to da shop or did it urseft..i was wonderin if u can take them off and paint them,..i tried to take it out but couldnt ..

Do you mean the trim peice at the edge of the hood and right above the rear license plate? If so, that comes in the body color on coupes and chrome on sedans. Im pretty sure they are the same and you can just buy the other one. However, it is most likely possible to remove them and paint them just like any other peice of plastic.

chrome is very hard to paint, even if you get it sandblasted. its easier and safer to just buy the coupe hood trim, and the 04-05 painted rear trim (for sedan).

I wasnt sure if they were actually chrome or a chrome painted peice. So there you go.

well u can take it out? cuz i didnt really check to c how u take it out. cuz i really want to get it to match my car(white)
