Sticky Residue

Previous owner had some dash cover. When they sold it to me they took it out. Now I'm left with 3 small 1x1in. sticky residue. Anyone know how to take this stuff out? I tried alcohol but that failed. Know any remedys or products that can remove this stuff?

try WD-40 or Goo-Gone. Either of them should erase the sticky residue off.

goo-gone or goof-off should be ok. Should try it on some plastic surface 1st.

wd-40 should be fine. I used it to remove the sticky residue from neon stick on my interior plastic trim. All you need is some kleenex and WD-40. Spray and rub it off.

Use some Mirror Glaze Heavy Duty Vinyl Cleaner #39, a cotton terry towel and a little bit of elbow grease and it should come right off safely.

well i tried wd40 and that didn't do much.
i guess i'll just leave it the way it is. it's only noticable when you look
through the front windshield.
i guess the sticky adhesive is stuck there for good.
