a Buffer to remove swirls?

I have some swirl marks.. nothing major, but regular rubbing will not completely remove them, I was wondering how easy is an electric buffer to use? Do you need experience to use them? I dont want to mess up my paint or anything,, and what would i use with it to remove the swirls, thanks

imo, a (pc) porter cable dual action polisher is a must in any detailing arsenal, in keeping the car's finish in tip-top shape. your hands can only do so much....
