A few ?'s about waxing.

I just recently bought a 05 Accord Grey color, I love it. But When the Snow leaves here I'm going to wax it, I have heard to wax it with MequiresFX wax. I have used it on my satin silver Civic, and I used Zimbol. which I liked. I dunno what will bring out the shine on a darker car like I have now, So the help will be appreciated.

On the darker colors you will get great results by using either Meguiars #7 show car glaze followed by Meguiars NXT wax or by just using Meguiars ColorX, either way you cant go wrong.

yeah i 2nd meguiars nxt wax...#1 consumer wax in the country for a reason..as for #7 its a good product but not the most user friendly...do you plan on hand applying or machine applying...what most important isn't what wax you use but what steps you use to prepare the paint for the wax

I agree with the #7 not being user friendly when it comes to doing it by hand, but its great by machine. If your going by hand then go with Meguiars #81 Hand polish, very easy to work and provides great results.

It's A Fairly New Car, So You Don't Need Much, Just Use A Simple Coat Of Wax....any Would Do. If You Want To Go A Little More Use Polish To Start With, Then Comes The Wax.

Since its new you need to start out with a bang. DEFINETLY polish it and wax it. Just because its new doesnt mean that the dealership took care of it, and you dont know how long it sat exposed to the elements with no protectant. If you want the finish to last you need to take proper care of it from day one. Just do it right from the start and you will be happier in the long run.

IMO you should wash, dry, clay, spray some detailer on it, use some megiuars paint cleaner scrub if you really wanna do it right, use one or two polishes(last polish should be really fine), wax, buff, next day-wax, buff

Wash with a dishwasher hand soap like dawn to get everything off of car, it will dry out your paint if you do it too often though.

If you wanna be lazy about it and not buy a dual action polisher and spend all that money then just wash, dry, clay, detailer, wax, buff
go buy:
-micro fiber towels
-wax-megiuars tech wax or number 26 is great
-mothers or megiuars clay kit
-megiuars car wash shampoo
-silicon squeegee, expensive, but well worth it in the long run
-soft mitt for washing
-bucket if you do not have at least 3, 2 for soap(one on top half of car one for bottom half), one for water to rinse mit after putting it in soap bucket
-dawn soap
-hose nozzle if you do not have one
READ autopia.org for the correct procedures to wash your car, it will save your paint to do it right
Keep your paint wet the entire time you are washing it, soak it right before you use the squeegee
