Mr.Clean auto dry pro and winter

Has anyone tried washing their car in the winter with Mr.Clean auto dry pro? I was thinkin of getting one to wash off all the grime and salt off so I dont have to visit the car washes all the time, since its so damn expensive for a wash.

It wont work for you with the salt. It doesnt supply enough pressure to get salt off. Plus youll freeze your hose before your done. Just stick with the car washes. I suggest spraying downward with a high pressure sprayer at the car wash, parallel to the salty panel, that will greatly reduce any paint scratching caused by rinsing off salt. If you just spray directly at it your basically sandblasting your paint, if you spray downward it goes down and away from the paint, just a suggestion.

I thought that the added soap would do something, but guess not....

The Mr. Clean soap seems to dry out the wax, but it aslo doesnt pack much of a puch when it comes to spraying power. High pressure hose is the way to go. Just get a high pressure nozzle for your existing hose, that will work just fine. If you get one with more of a fan spray pattern you will probably like that better.

If it sounds too good then more than likely it is. Thank God i don't have to drive my car in the winter. But just like soonercivic has said, don't directly spray your car, cause even though the salt is coming off really nice, your just blasting the salt into your car first.
