Why does everyone hate pinstripes on this site?

Depending on the color of the car and stripe and how its done, i think they look pretty good. Again, it depends on the style and coloring though. Real painted pinstripes on hot rods and even on the last edition prowlers are sweet. I like the ones done by freehand.

I dont know why, but I'm one of them and took mine off. The car looks cleaner without them. It looks less stock-ish I guess, because if anyone has pinstripes, it's a good bet that it was installed by the dealership.
