What to use to remove rust proof from engine bay?

hey everyone,

When i got my car, we had honda put the rust proofing stuff on and they put it all over the engine bay and the under part of the hood... is there anything I can do to get rid of this cuz it looks very horrible. Looks worse than rust...

any ideas?

What is it exactly? A rubbery substance? We had a guy on www.danase.com/forums doing it on his Prelude I know.

it seems like a rubbery substances but i could be wrong.. i have touched it before and its quite goo'y and sticky...

nice forum... read some stuff on there and it really helps!
