Need Help! How to remove cat scratch on hood???

Hey guys do you have any suggestions on how to remove scratches on my hood ? My neighbors' cat f#cked it up ...left some scratch marks on it I think it was trying to jump on top of my car.

What should I use to remove these damn scratch marks? Any suggestions are welcome.

Thanks guys!

Simple, put the cat in a potato gun and aim it at your neighbors Ford Focus.

Haha, but seriously. Check at your local auto parts store, more than likely they'll have a wax that will blend into the paint job on your car.

man, my friends cat did that to my car, but luckily the cat has no claws and left slight scratches and cute paw prints that my girl keeps digging me for
I mean there aint nothing you can do, except beat on the cat, but how can you when the cat is so loyal to you.

ditto. Use it on a foam applicator pad. It wont be easy but its possible. If you have wax on it, you will need to re-wax that area.

if you can catch your fingernail on them, then you wont be able to remove them. that means it went all the way through the clearcoat.

Megiuar's Cleaner Wax has worked for me on light scratches. It takes some elbow grease for good results.

The cleaner wax is a good product for removing light scratches and swirls while waxing, but is less effective do to the wax in it than the scratchX. ScratchX is a pure abrasive that uses diminishing abrasives that will gradually break down into a polish so that you dont over do it. The cleaner wax contains very minimal abrasives.

I'll buy that scratch X tomorrow and hopefully it won't rain this weekend so I can try to remove the marks on my hood.
