Back Side of Rims Filthy

So I rotated my wife's and my tires a couple of weeks ago and the back side of the rims are filthy. I scrubbed with a brush to no avail. Now everytime I look at my tires I look thru the wheel and only see the back side. What is the best way to clean the back side of the wheels? Or is it too late? There's only 10K miles on my new wheels and 15K miles on the wife's wheels.

When I rotate my tires, I just spray on some wheel cleaner, let it sit, then wipe off the brake dust and road grime. Good as new.

and after their cleaned, get a wheel brush that can reach all the hard to reach places. I wash behind my spokes every wash every week. They are still chrome blingy

Yeah, try some wheel cleaner and a scrub brush or some dilluted Simple Green and a brush. Brake dust can be a pain.

You can always wax them after you get them clean. May help later when you clean them again.
