Better description of "gauze marks", do you know if it was machine polished, or if whomever did it just used a cleaner/wax type deal?

You got gaze marks? Sounds like the guys over at Queer Eye got to your car! LMAO Anyway, I think you mean haze marks. Those can be caused by a bunch of different things. What they are is basically lot of fine scratches in your paint. It can be caused by things such as, what you dry your ride with, what you wash it with, car washes, not working polishes in right, using certain towels or rags on the paint, and so on. Clay won't take out scratches, but polish should take them out in no time. Maybe whoever did your car did not know how to use the polish correctly. Anyway, get yourself a good polish, you might have to start with a medium cut and work to a lesser agressive polish, work the polish into the paint good. Don't just wipe on wipe off, you have to work it into the paint until it breaks down good. That should do i for you.
