Faded plastic - help

Hey all I searched and I didn't find any direct answers...

I bought ebay oem-style foglights and the plastic trim around the foglight faded or something. It's now grayish black. The oem black plastic of the lower grill has no signs of fading yet, so I guess this is what I get for going the cheap route.

Are there any products that will restore the blackness of the plastic?

I'm not looking for 'shiner gel' like what you put on tires, because that will wear off so fast since the foglights are in front of the car. something like what you use for leather, that makes it richer looking. I want to go to the auto store but I don't want to waste money of a whack product

Thanks in advance!

You might have to paint the faded parts. If you know a paint shop that
you trust,go to them and see what they'll charge.I know this will cost
extra as opposed to using a product like Mother's "Back to Black",but at
least a good paint job will be less likely to fade.

Most likely not faded but wax residue on the plastic. Try getting that off first and see.
