Removing the sticky stuff!!!!!

I have a 03 LX coupe and i just recently remove the "LX" letter on the back of my car. After take it out, it still have that black glue thing that was use to stick the LX sign to the car. I can't seem to get that stupid glue remove. I tried this stain remover call Goo-Gone, and that's was like the best stain remover too and it's still didn't work. How does that body shop take those crap out. Does anybody know how??
