i use simple green to clean most of my accessories under the hood..

other than that a damp cloth always works!

pretty much same here. i use simple green (in concentrated form) and microfiber towels for pretty much everything in the engine bay. after it's all clean with simple green, i'll go over the plastic and rubber parts with meguiars plastic/rubber dressing. it looks better than when i bought it!
