Compatible Transmissions?
I currently have a 2005 Civic Si-G with a 5-spd Manual, It sounds like my Input Bearing is done. I have another 7th Gen 2003 Civic DX with a 5-spd Manual and from what I can research the two are different slightly in the gear ratios ( the DX's rev's about 500rpm lower ),but are compatible for a swap. If this is true then the DX tranny has a lot less kms on it and no issues when it was parked. Can anyone verify that the 2 are interchangeable?

Re: Compatible Transmissions?
It is a D17A2 in the my Si, so then it should bolt right up? I figure once I get the trans out of of the DX I'll pull the fill and the drain plug and flush the oil, I have to use Honda's specific manual trans oil correct?
