i have a 2k1 5sp dx. i blew 2 transmissions on this car. i have 59k on the car. i would love nothing more than to wait and do the k20 swap in my car. however i like most of us, funds are tight. can anyone tell me if its possible to use an EX tranny on a DX motor? im sure this will work, and possibly be slower. i will be squeezing NOS, so i think the larger gear ratio may be a benefit. QUESTION NUMBER 2 does anyone have a tranny i can buy? htown? anyone who has swapped theres out? (yeah cuz there is an enormous amount of you) ive tried junk yards....but nothing on the east coast. thanks.

Do you have a manual or AT? Htown has a manual if you want it it'll be kinda hard or expensive to swap.

Usually go throught trannys like water on these cars with nitrous. 01ex went through 3 trannys by 21k miles.

That's why I dont' want to mod my engine. I'll keep that stock and just make it look good. If I wanted a fast car I wouldn't have gotten a civic
