Re: do i need a tune?

Keeping the stock tune isn't going to hurt anything. You may be able to get a little more if you had it tuned but at the cost of Kpro it isn't really worth it.

Re: do i need a tune?

Ok thank you, I am not concerned with the performance as much as the reliability issue, I don’t want the engine to run rich or lean with a short ram , I plan on keeping this vehicle all I have is an exhaust and short ram

No need for a tune. The car will adapt.

Re: do i need a tune?

All air flow/exhaust flow modifications are well within the OEM Air fuel sensors ability to tune the fuel.

Since you haven't altered the combustion dynamics
-bore
-stroke
-compression ratio
-ignition timing
-added boost in place of vacuum

There is no reason, not to shoot for stochiometric AF ratios (or there abouts); which the air fuel sensor will do automatically.
