2001 civic LX interior headliner replacement

does anyone know if the material used for the headliner is available or is this one of those ripp out whats left of it and ignore the new yellow foam look?

its a 4 door, will the headliner just come out or does the front windshield have to be removed?

You can find the material aftermarket. It would be easiest to install the new material with the headliner out of the car. I've never removed the headliner on the Civic before, so I don't know how difficult it is to remove (I'm referring to the entire head "board" not just the material it is glued to).

Some time back, I ordered a sample sheet of all the different colors available from the website. I matched up the color and then ordered the material. It came with padding on the back of the cloth. Then I bought some material glue to adhere the new cloth to the headliner.

You will have to use a bristle brush to remove all the old foam before installing the new. Below is a link to the sample sheet:
