Lost key has become a huge problem [solved]

So I lost my keys the other day and I've tried to find them. It's a lost cause they're gone. I called Ace unlocks which is a notably popular locksmith service. They agreed to come out. Make a key reprogram it at 225 no big deal right wrong. The guy cut a key. The key turns the ignition fits the doors works like it should everywhere and every tumbler. However, when he went to program the ECM for the new keys chip, the immobilizer would not let him access the ECM. He tried three different scanning tool computers from cheap to mediocre to high dollar.... Needless to say I was left with "there's nothing more I can do".

Okay so as of right now when I get in the car the key that he cut will turn the ignition in the car will turn over but will not fire... I'm in dire need of a solution like a right now solution. It's 907 p.m. and I don't care if I'm up till the wee hours of the morning. I've got to get this car running. This is my only mode of transportation to and from work. Although I can get rides it is very inconvenient. I'm just going to assume that I can hunt down the wire for the fuel pump and supply 12 volts to it with a switch whenever I get into the car and want to drive. Is that correct or no ? please no bashing I'm at my wits end I love this car to death. It gets great gas mileage but I cannot afford to send it to a mechanic to have a mechanic charge me and not be able to fix it either. Anything that I can do? Please help. Thank you. By the way, I have an 05 Civic coupe value package

wonder if the key itself is faulty...
Other than that, not likely since it was working, but loose alternator bolts will fry ECU's.

Immobilizer also cuts injectors and spark i believe. Contact the dealer about getting a key programmed. They might be able to program the key you already have

Only other option is finding another locksmith.

re: Lost key has become a huge problem [solved]

As it turns out there was no special code from Honda or anything that the locksmith had to do. My second locksmith that came out. I explained the problems the first locksmith had so when this guy started having problems accessing the ECU to reprogram it, he tried another key and that's all the problem was. The first locksmith should have tried a different chip key here. I am $200 later and I finally have a key
