Remote lock/unlock problem
Alright i was working ony my car today, installing front speakers and attempted to install an amplifier. Anyways when all is done i try to lock my car with remote and it doesnt lock it, but the unlock does work, I tried my other remote just make sure, same problem. but it will manually lock from inside and with key. Could it be a problem with a fuse? or is there a problem with driver side door. anyways if any one could help me out .
Well i have kind of the same problem. My car today worked fined when i turned off the alarm to unlock my doors. Then when i got to work, my driver side auto door lock no longer functions. When i use lock the doors, the passenger side would work with no problems, it just my driver side that is messed up right now. So even with an alarm, i have to either enter in teh passenger side or use my key to open up the driver side. it sucks. I'll have to have my body shop take a look at it. Let me know how it goes with you if you get it fixed

If the remote doesnt unlock/lock a certain door, but the key will unlock/lock the door, then more then likely the door lock actuator needs to be replaced. I had to replace mine on the drivers side due to the same issues.

Professional, I am the professional. Yes I replaced it myself. If you remove the door panel, look on the side of the door where the I believe it is 3 large bolts and the actuator sits toward the bottom in that area. If its the drivers door, it is in the left bottom corner.
Remove the door panel and reconnect everything and hit the lock/unlcok button and see if you can hear the actuator.
I replaced the door lock assembly which includes the actuator. It was about $45. the actuator itself is around $20, but I couldnt figure out how to remove it from the lock assembly.
