Could a dirty bead be causing slow leaks

Could a dirty bead be causing slow leaks in my two rear wheels on a 2005 Honda civic LX sedan. Both rear tires every now and then start losing pressure. I noticed the tires being flatish at about 20 psi. The rims could be the culprit somehow maybe bent but any other rim reasons I've never heard of..and of course the valve stems.. they're probably pretty old but I checked it with soapy water and found no bubbles. Any suggestions

You should get bubbles from the bead. Might be the inner bead
