hi guys clunking ?

01 civic sedan 144k on it i am having ball joints done monday but more importanly on rear pass side it clunks when i go over bumps?s now what i am wondering is strut is still good and the stut looks fine what else would it be ? i am confused it has been clunking over bumps for a while now. Need help

You should have your mechanics look into this.

I just noticed this problem on my 94 Civic LX. Turns out, in my case, it was the exhaust bolts that held the muffler on broke, so the muffler was laying on the right rear suspension, and clunking any time i went over a bump. Just something quick and easy to check that eluded me for far too long.
