Problem strut replacement - drive shaft pulled out

I had problems with the a Gabriel strut not receiving the control arm after installation. After using a 1" socket to expand the strut connection, I discovered the drive shaft had pull out exposing some shaft beyond the seal. I cannot get the shaft full in even though the right wheel still turns when I tuen the left.

Any suggestions?

Drive shaft pulled out of the trans or pulled out of the hub?

I'm having this issue. Not sure what pulled out but it's hanging at an angle and won't straighten out. Not able to finesse it back in. Please help

Probably will have to carefully disassemble the clamps and rubber boot in order to see and touch the components inside the joint and reassemble them.

Some joints use rollers with a pair of flat spots on each one, necessitating correct orientation before the roller can slide into its slot in the cup.
