It is your pads if you you only hear it while breaking. They're designed to make a squealing noise as you brake so that you know when they need to be replaced. If the sound occurs everytime the wheel is spinning, even when the brakes aren't being applied, then you need to have your wheel bearings inspected. Although, considering Honda uses really good bearings that don't tend to go out prior to 100K miles that most likely isn't the case with your current situation. Hope that helps.
the brakes can still make noise whether your breaking or not. If the pads are down low enough the squeelers will be touching the rotor all the time, not just when your braking. How many K's on the car?

A.) why have you been driving around with squealing brakes for so long that they've now become fully contacted with the rotor and
B.) you will need to look into new rotors.
Many people will tell you that this isn't true and you just need to resurface the rotor. However, the truth is that if the rotor is damaged in any way (such as metal to metal contact caused by the fully ground pad in continuous contact with the rotor) it should be replaced. What many people don't realize is that, although it is considerably cheaper, resurfacing the rotors decreases their overall thickness. Rotor thickness is essential to heat dissipation. Reducing the thickness of the rotor deteriorates from the rotor's heat dissipation efficiency. There is a certain thickness that the manufacturer still deems safe, making it possible to safely resurface the rotor to a point. Although the rotors will still remain intact (resist cracking) up to this point, they will not perform as effectively through high heat cycles as full thickness rotors. Hope that gives you some information to ponder.
I've done my own pads and rotor replacement. Its pretty easy if you know what your doing. You can get it done for around $150. if your at 52K you have done pretty well on a set of front brakes. So many people kill them about 20K.

Hey this is 2022 and you're the top result for this issue on Google. I highly recommend greasing your brake components everytime you change your pads &or rotors. The main component to constant squeaking after a brake pad change is the clip youre provided with. Let's day you didn't switch out the clip because someone gave you bad advice or just didn't feel like it. Grease the thing up at the very least, ok? That clip serves as the holder for the pad to slide in back and forth with the help of the caliper. Without grease you most likely won't get any movement on the brake pad. Especially if you've got an old clip. Take care good luck
