OK fellas. Well, I have a 2003 lx auto civic. I was driving home from work in traffic and it started revving kinda high. Slipping. Gave a code p0730 wrong gear ratio. 100 feet later it now has no movement in any gear whatsoever and there's atf all over the ground. Rolls backward down hills in drive. Transmission is gone isn't it? Clutch packs I assume? I live in Oklahoma. I only paid 1600 bucks for the car, I can't drop 2500 on a reman trans. A rebuild is about the same. Yall know a reasonable place to get a trans? Pull a part/lkq is 1500 bucks for one that's been sitting out in a junkyard. Not reasonable in my opinion.

You should find where that transmission leaked out, fix it, then refill. You may be okay.

P0730 is considered the death code of the automatic transmissions, and like Brotato said, you might be okay by dealing with the leak and refilling, but I’d prepare for the worst.

Pick n pull has been selling transmissions near me for around $160 CAD for years. Still tons of those civics in that yard, too.
