2005 civic radio restart
I am in Canada, it is a 2005 Honda civic used ,unhooked the battery now no radio did the code search got the numbers. now in canada the dealers want 15$ to get the real code to run it what the he'll.

Code wasn't written down anywhere in the owner's manual, glovebox, center console?
$15 isn't bad, or go install an aftermarket deck and never have to worry about the code again

No not original manual but don't you think charging money for this is bs like I mean my air bags will kill me but I wont be listening to the radio lol ? Thought this was a scam but this is the way?

It's a service they provide, therefore they can charge for it.
Know anyone that works at a Honda dealership? Maybe they can look it up for you.

Just recently I used the website https://radio-navicode.honda.com/ and was able to get the radio code for my Accord for free.
