D17A2 oil pan gasket - how much silicone?
Hi there Honda guys I am new to this site and I need some help!!
I have a 2005 Honda Civic special edition two door five speed D17A2 with a steel oil pan
i’m changing the gasket using a fel pro gasket and I would like to know how much silicone do I use? And where? I try to look at some YouTube videos, but none of them show exactly where. Please help. Happy holidays.

Brotatochip is correct. Alum pan = sealant only / Steel pan takes the oil pan gasket. I believe it's part # 11251-P2A-014
You can use Hondabond, but the package says it takes 3 days to seal up properly.
I just did this a few weeks ago to my daughter's 2003 1.7 EX and I used the right stuff gray sealer. (90 min setup time) but I waited 24 hours and had zero issues.
