Civic 2003 si 157k
Im having an intermittent issue sometimes where when i press the gas my car stutters and pops. Does not accelerate for a brief moment. Almost like a hiccup. I mostly notice it when i try to pull off in first gear from idle, never happens while driving in between higher gears. The car can be in neutral and the same problem happens when i press the gas pedal SOMETIMES.

Check engine light?
Sounds like the fuel trim/ignition timing might be the issue
