SE EX Airbox Rattles

Got a junk 05 Civic that runs like a top - smooth, except for an annoying rattle at certain RPMs. The 2 halves of the airbox resonator fit loosely together at the front.
All securing screws are in place and tight.
Are there clips that hold the 2 halves together?
If all else fails, I can just wrap ducttape around the seam between the 2 halves.

If you're talking about the box the air filter is in then there should be like 7 screws on top holding it to the piece below.

Re: SE EX Airbox Rattles

No - as I had written, it's the airbox RESONATOR - there's no screws that secure the top and bottom halves together.

Oops. The resonator is not supposed to separate. Maybe you can glue it back together, duct tape, or replace with a used one from a junkyard.

Re: SE EX Airbox Rattles

I'm thinking ducttape, since it's not under any real pressure.
Anyone know how these things were originally stuck together?

Re: SE EX Airbox Rattles

Probably some sort of epoxy, I would do epoxy since the duct tape will probably only last about a week
