oxygen sensors [solved]

hi there, so i dropped my exhaust to be able to remove the subframe and in the process i cut the wires to both o2 sensors as i didnt have the foresight to place something under the exhaust to support it so it was hanging by the o2 sensors so i thought it best to cut the wires so the sensors dont get damaged and i would resolder them later, the issue being that both sensors have a grey, black and then 2 white wires, how do i tell which white wire is which? bonus: i need to fill my transmission with MTF and the only funnel i have that fits has been used for engine oil and still has some oil plus dust in there, can i use this for the MTF or should i buy a new one just for it (they're like $1.50)

Alright that's pretty easy, and my car should still run with no oxygen sensors while I figure things out right?

re: oxygen sensors [solved]

Buy new sensors, they're probably pretty old at this point

re: oxygen sensors [solved]

the clp for the sensor can be painful to find where to press, but after you find it is is way easier to separate and reconnect than cutting and splicing later on, BTW... Slow in is faster
