I have a 2001 Honda Civic. I just put brand new radiator, catalytic converter and fans. I thought the radiator was the problem but apparently it’s not. The car runs perfectly but after a while running (no more than 30 minutes) it starts to slow down even if I press the gas. If I continue to run it in that state it shuts down completely. I let the car sit for around 15 minutes until I turn it on again and continue driving as normal. And the same thing happens again.

A failed head gasket is very common in the engines. Check timing as well.

exact same thing is happening to mine now . have you found anything out ? iv been to a few mechanics and none of them seem to be able to find the issue . they say they do but when i fix the part i get the same problem . my timing was done and headgasket were already replaced to so im at a loss im about to just sell it for parts lol dumped almost a grand into parts and mechanics already
