Hey guys! Well as the proud owner of an ‘05 SOHC Civic I have reached my knowledge limit on what could be my problem so, here I return to the fountain of knowledge. At 227,554 miles just did a valve lash adjustment trying to quiet a horrible valve train knock/tick alleviated some of the problems but it’s still there also did an oil change as it was due. Now with all of 10 minutes of run time my oil light is coming on. So am I looking an oil pump replacement, valve job, or engine replacement? Attached video for engine sound and pics for observed oil leak. Any and all suggestions, ridicule, and harassment will be greatly appreciated

check if oil levels still acceptable.
if low, remove filter and make sure it have only one seal
Thanks @sdaidoji. Well after taking your suggestion, no 2nd seal but, I am missing 2 oil pan bolts located right where I am assuming the oil pump exits at so hopefully this solves that problem. Now on to the most confusing and unbelievable fix for the mysterious knock/tick. Anybody wanna take a wild a$$ guess? Answer reveal this evening. 🤔😂

I have had in the past some weird stuff. Mysterious clunking sound when braking, accelerating, turning.
We found a coke glass bottle under the rear seat...

Well mine isn’t quite as good as that cause I do have an issue still but, the timing belt tensioner appears to be shot, not enough to let it jump time but enough to let it slap the heck out of the sub-frame.
yeouch!
There were some cases where the tensioner got loose and shredded the belt...
Yep I consider myself pretty lucky overall. I don’t have to replace an engine and the timing belt didn’t break so now it’s off to shop for a new tensioner and belt. Any other suggestions to check out while I’m at it?
I am pretty sure it’s due for a hg at current mileage but no issues so far and it seems that every time I go the extra mile on this car it seems to throw a fit and demand more. 🤣🤣
Ok parts on tensioner and belt ordered, gonna follow through with pressure test to verify hg status, fingers crossed, 🥺. Gonna start breaking it down this weekend will document with pics and do the same when parts get in.
@sdaidoji I have discovered another major malfunction. Which is why I have been doing all this work myself instead of taking my car back to this “good” mechanic.
