Hello all. I have an '03 civic with 222k miles, D17a1 engine, and have spun the rod bearing on the #1 cylinder. I removed the oil pan and bottom rod bearing cap and removed what was left of the bearing. The crank journal is still smooth, to my surprise!!! I looked in the FSM and found the chart for the replacement bearing size. The # stamped on the rod is 2, and the # on the crank right next to it is D2. I looked at the chart and it says that I need a 'Brown' bearing. When I tried to find an OEM replacement, none exist for that color!!! Any suggestions on possible aftermarket replacements??? Thanks a lot...
