Re: Multiple Cylinder misfire

I took the car to shop and they told me that since i changed all those parts already, the only think he can tell me to do is to check my valve adjustment..i check my valve adjustment, its my first time doing that job so i used .008 intake and .009 Exhaust.the they were noisy so i did .009 and i was having the vibration a little more than i was. I rechecked them and used .007 intake but the exhaust remain as .009 but the vibration still there..i haven't seeing the the missing codes since the first time i adjusted the valve though..i couldn't afford the dealership mounts so i bought them from 1Auto.com and they are about 11 months on the car now. I check the timing on both the cam/crank and they are in line.i dont think i jumped any tooth. I carefully check the the timing while putting on the belt.

what you think would cause the vibration.?

Please explain how you feel and/or see the vibration?
Is the vibration present at idle and car parked?
When driving only?
At cold start or operating temp?

It vibrates at idle only. Cold or hot.

New motor/transmission mounts will definitely increase vibrations noticeably for at least a few months until they break-in (compress) some. Vacuum leaks can cause vibrations. Damaged harmonic balancer can cause vibrations. Misfires cause vibrations.

Re: Multiple Cylinder misfire

Its vibrating in idle mood. My mounts are on the car almost a year now.it wasn't even vibrating when i install the mounts.
The is pcv valve air leakage in the system. I replaced the pcv valve with a dealership one and i still having the same thing.
