Is it common for the head gasket to cause mass seepage ? My 2001 Civic LX started leaking tons of oil at the same time as the head gasket blew and started pushing coolant out of the reservoir.
Start with washing it all down well, then observe again for fresh ooozing/seepage. I just went through a similar ordeal, although, my source may be different (it was the solenoid gaskets).
I just pulled off the breather cover, literally. The bottom bolt was so rusted that the head was almost gone. Breather cover was so rusted I just twisted the bolt out along with it. Pretty sure that at least one of the leaks.
